• Learning packs coming home

  All classes will be bringing home learning packs today so we are prepared in case school has to close. These packs are to be used if your child cannot come to school and they are still able to access some learning from home. We are also updating our class pages with links to online learning. 

  In addition to this, if school has to close, Mr Chapman will be uploading Powerpoints for Y6 every day so his class are still preparing for their SATs in May.

  We have also included a link to kids workouts with the Body Coach so that they can still have fun, safe exercise at home too.

• Our very own Bibles

  We enjoyed a special assembly this morning with Fr Endre where all children in Y2-Y6 were given their very own Bible from Bibles for Children which they can bring home and keep. They may bring it into school for RE lessons too.

  

• Y4 swimming cancelled

  Y4 swimming lessons have now been cancelled until further notice following the advice from the Government.

• Quiz night cancelled

  Following the Government's advice about social contact we have decided to postpone our Easter Quiz night on 31st March. A new date will be arranged in the future. If you bought tickets please bring them back to school where you can have a refund. Thank you

• Spring Sing cancelled

  We have been informed that the Spring Sing event at Whitley Bay Playhouse has been cancelled tonight. Please return any tickets purchased to our school office and they will refund you the money. This is understandable given the current circumstances to keep everyone safe and healthy.

  They hope to postpone it and give us a new date in the future, so we will keep in touch with you if this happens.

  We have a special assembly happening on Tuesday where Fr Endre will be presenting children's bibles to all of our children in Years 2-6. These bibles are for your family to read and share at home.
