  We have had our best week for attendance in all classes this week, so the competition for class attendance stars is going to be close this afternoon! Thank you for working with us so that all children attend school as often as possible. Good attendance means that children learn new skills and make valuable friendships

• Bingo night success

  Thank you very much to everyone who came to the PTA bingo night last. We raised an amazing £300 which will be split evenly between the classes for new resources, trips and treats. Thank you to the PTA who organised it and our school staff who stayed to help too

  Remember to get your tickets for the bingo night by tomorrow so we have enough hotdogs for the main event on Thursday. All children must be accompanied by an adult. It’s going to be great fun and great prizes too. Tickets are available from our school office.

• Y4 skipping festival news

  Huge congratulations to our Y4 class who came 2nd overall in the skipping festival today and achieved the gold award for their dance. We're proud of you all!

• Bingo night Thursday 28th March 5pm

  Eyes down for a full house! There are still a few tickets left for our bingo night on Thursday 28th March which will take place in our school hall. The doors open at 4:45pm for a 5pm start. Get your 'two little ducks', 'Kelly's eye' and 'clickety click' ready for a fun night. Tickets are available from our school office for £1 each, which includes your entry plus a hot dog and drink. Bingo tickets are available to buy at the event.

  Two wins so far for our fabulous hockey team at the hockey tournament with other schools! Well done St Peter’s!

   

• Bronze award from the Woodland Trust

  A huge well done to all of our pupils and staff who have achieved a Bronze Award from the Woodland Trust. We have all worked hard to recycle more and cut down on the amount of rubbish we produce. It has been very successful and we are very proud of every class!

  We are now working towards the silver award.

• Free online session tomorrow afternoon in school

  Don't forget to come into school tomorrow afternoon from 2:30pm until home-time to attend the free session for parents/carers run by the NSPCC so you can find out how to keep your child safe online. Free raffle for all who attend.
