Education Plans and EHCPs
Any child on our school SEND register will have an education support plan. This is so that we can work with the child, family and outside agencies to assess, plan and review progress on a more personalised level.
Some of our pupils have an Education Health and Care Plan (commonly referred to as an EHCP). As a school we will consider requesting a needs assessment when despite the school having taken relevant and purposeful action to identify, assess and meet the SEN of the child or young person, the child or young person has not made expected progress.
Provision Map (Edukey)
In school, we use an online platform called Provision Map. This helps us to create, monitor and review your child's educational journey at our school. We provide access for parents/carers to this website with a unique code. This allows you to take part in reviews, leave comments and see everything that we are doing to support your child.
