  • Y6 booster classes

    Sun 27 Feb 2022 Miss Bilton

    To support your child to feel less anxious during SATs week and to catch up on missed learning from the pandemic we will be teaching booster classes starting from tomorrow. It would greatly benefit your child to attend these classes so that they feel ready to sit the SATs in May without feeling worried. The classes will recap all learning from the last few years and will also be teaching new knowledge and skills too.

    We will be offering booster classes at the following times each week starting 28th February until Thursday 5th May:

    Mondays = 3:30 - 4:15pm (Maths/GPS focus)
    Tuesdays = 8:00 - 9:00am (Maths focus)
    Wednesdays = 8:00 - 9:00am (Maths focus)
    Thursdays = 3:30 - 4:15pm (Reading skills focus)

    For those attending morning boosters we will start teaching at 8am but your child can join at any time up to 8:30am that morning. We will provide toast for these pupils and they can bring their water bottle. For those staying to after-school boosters until 4:15pm we will provide snacks.

    Generally Mr Chapman will teach the morning booster classes while Mr Dey and Miss Bilton will teach the after-school booster classes, although we will all be involved at most times.

    Your child can attend as many days as they wish. If they need to miss one for an appointment please just let us know and they can join in again the next session.

    As always, please get in touch with us if you have any questions about booster classes.

  • Welcome back to school on Monday 28th February

    Sun 27 Feb 2022 Miss Bilton

    We hope that you have all had a lovely half term. Just a quick reminder that school reopens tomorrow.

    Staff have worked over the holiday week to plan the learning for this new half term and it all starts tomorrow.
    Also, Y6 booster classes start after school and during breakfast club.
    Remember that we have our 'wear a word' day on Thursday as we celebrate World Book Day.
    There's lots to look forward to this half term so you don't want to miss a day.
    See you tomorrow
