  We've all been to church for the rehearsal for our harvest festival this afternoon. What a treat! Everyone sang beautifully and the poems were read excellently. Our final song also has sign language which is very impressive. You are welcome this afternoon at St Peter's Church starting at 2:15pm.

  It was lovely to welcome so many parents/carers tonight to our parents evening and to share how well your children are doing. Remember, you can come to speak with me about our Ofsted report if you have any queries or if you want to know the improvements that we have already made.

• Donations of food for The Bay Foodbank

• Early Years harvest crafts

• Harvest festival at St Peter's Church

  I hope that you can all join us for our annual harvest festival at St Peter's Church. This is always a lovely service where our Y1-Y6 pupils take part in thanking God through songs, prayers and poems. It will start on Thursday at 2:15pm in the church.

• PE kits in school on Monday

  All pupils need their PE kits in school on Monday because Grassroots will be running gymnastics taster sessions with each class. 

• Operation Encompass in school

  As you are aware, we are an Operation Encompass school. On Monday morning PC Tim Cousins is in school from 8:30am if you would like to speak with him about any concerns you have about suspected domestic abuse. He can meet you in a private room. He will also be teaching a lesson about healthy relationships to Y4.

• Well done, Logan

  We are super proud of Logan in Y1. When he saw two children lost in the park at the weekend, he told his Dad who was able to phone the Police and get the children to safety. What a sensible thing to do, Logan. Well done for making this good choice!
