We are very fortunate that Fr Alan is our Chair of Governors and visits the school regularly. He often leads acts of worship and take part in RE lessons. KS1 and KS2 children also attend mass at St Peter's Church where they are welcomed by the congregation. Our March 2017 Ofsted inspection highlighted:
‘Pupils visit their local church fortnightly and are welcomed by the congregation because of their exemplary, respectful behaviour.’
We have a variety of services at the church including a Harvest and Easter service. We also use the church as a resource for RE lessons, learning about the parts of the church and how they are used within a service and about the different services that are held there and their importance in people’s lives.
