Football Team Updates

Wallsend St Peter's v Tyneview Primary School - friendly fixture (Wednesday 14th February 2024)

Fantastic game between the two schools, it was lovely to be out and play our first game. Thanks to our football coach Gabriel for his support and work with the team every Friday.

Fantastic time at the Wallsend Boys Football Club on Thursday 14th March.

Our team played tremendously well and had great fun together. 

2 wins and 1 draw. 

Lost an exciting penalty shootout. 

25th April 2024 - Wallsend Boys Club / Kirkley Park Tournament 

The team performed tremendously well - they did not concede a goal in any game! We reached the final but unfortunately lost on penalties. Some friendly games to come soon... football coaching every Friday will continue after school. Thank you to the parents/carers who came to support the team. 

The team performed tremendously well in a recent tournament in Newcastle at the rooftop pitch. 

Having only conceded 1 goal in 4 games the children were excellent. 

We have 2 children in our current team in Year 5 who are being nominated for a North Tyneside U11s team! Exciting news!

Regional Trials July 2024

We are pleased to announce that we have a number of players in year 5 and 6 going for trials to potentially join a northern regional team! Exciting news, well done to those pupils!

Fantastic effort today from our mixed football team! 8 players represented our school in 9 matches this morning.

AMAZING work from our first ever girls football team today atthe NUF tournament. You were all fantastic and should be soproud of yourselves! ☺️. They played like superstars, the arctic conditions didn’t slow them down! ⛄️.
