  • High Borrans

Wed 24 Apr 2019 Miss Bilton

If your child will be in Y4, Y5 or Y6 next year and would like to go to High Borrans in December 2019 please get in touch with our school office to find out more information. So far we do not have enough interest, and in the worst-case scenario, we will have to cancel the trip completely which will be a shame.

High Borrans is an outdoor learning centre nestled near Windermere in the Lake District. All activities are led by qualified instructors with school staff accompanying the groups. The children get to experience an amazing range of outdoor learning opportunities including canoeing, rock scrambling and caving. The week is jam-packed with exciting activities and the pupils sleep in dormitories with their friends.

I sincerely hope that we can have enough children interested so that this amazing residential trip can go ahead. Please get in touch if you would like any more information. Thank you.

  • Daily Mile

Wed 24 Apr 2019 Miss Bilton
Remember to all bring your trainers to school tomorrow as we have volunteers from Active North Tyneside and Newcastle Ladies joining us for our Daily Mile. It is the first anniversary of the Daily Mile and we are excited to be involved in the one year celebrations. We have been doing the Daily Mile all year as it helps us to be fitter, healthier, and more able to concentrate in the classroom. Keep an eye on our social media for some photos of us taking part in this tomorrow.

  • Good to be Green treat

Mon 01 Apr 2019 Miss Bilton
The Good to be Green treat this week is extra special and a huge number of our pupils deserve this reward. We have a magician coming into school to perform a funny magic show which sounds amazing. This just proves that it's 'good to be green' all term. We can't wait!
