Thank you very much to Mr Jamieson, Miss Peel, the PE staff and pupils at Burnside Business and Enterprise College who helped us to have an amazing sports day this afternoon. It was better than I even imagined! Everyone enjoyed taking part in the wide range of activities.
Miss Peel will send me the results tomorrow and I will post them onto this website and on Twitter.
Their IT department took drone footage and will send it to me. I will post stills from the footage of some pupils that we received written permission from, so that only those with permission have their images shared.
Thank you to those parents and carers who did not take photographs of their own in respect of those who cannot have their image shared. The safety of all of our pupils is always our priority so thank you for your cooperation in this matter.
Just another reminder that you can come to watch the children taking part in the KS2 sports day at Burnside on Wednesday 11th July from just after 1pm. All of the children must walk back to school with school staff at 3pm to be registered safely back at school. No permission will be given for pupils to go home with their parents straight from Burnside.
We all must follow the rules set by Burnside staff. Thank you.
Our legendary summer fayre takes place at 3:30pm on Thursday 12th July. Again it has been organised by our amazing PTA and staff and is sure to be a success.
You may collect your child at the end of the school day as usual and join us for the fun and games on the KS2 yard.

If you have any questions from this report, please feel free to drop in to see the class teacher between 3:30pm and 4:45pm on Wednesday 11th July. This is just a drop-in session so no appointments need to be made.

We are looking forward to our KS2 sports day on Wednesday on the field at Burnside Business and Enterprise College. It will be a fun afternoon of sporting activities and races.
Please remember that all children must wear their school PE kit and bring their water bottle.
All children must return to school with school staff so they can be safely registered back at school and will finish at the usual time of 3:25pm.
