Can I please remind everyone that mobile phones are not allowed in school due to safeguarding reasons. Any child who brings their phone to school must turn it off and hand it in to the school office where it will be kept safe until home-time.
Also, due to GDPR regulations and our policy for protecting everyone, any parent/carer who attends a school trip must not use their mobile phone during the trip. Parents/carers must adhere to this rule otherwise they will not be able to accompany their child on future trips. Thank you.
This morning I have received reports of a man acting suspiciously near a primary school in a different part of Wallsend and that school have informed the police. While this is not near our school, we will remind our pupils about not speaking to strangers and staff will be extra vigilant.
The safety of our pupils is paramount and we will do everything that we can to keep them safe.
