Keep up to date with all the latest news happening in school at the moment.
It's our Key Stage 1 party on Monday and we're very excited. If your child is in Year 1 or Year 2 they can come to school on Monday in their party clothes. It's time to PAAAAAARTYYYYY!
Please follow the link in the 'Performance Tables' tab on the website which will take you to the 2018 data for our school. You can also follow the links from the DfE to compare our school data with other schools.
We are pleased that our progress data looks good compared to many other schools in the area.
On Saturday December 14th at 4pm there will be a special Christingle service at St Peter's Church. All children will receive a Christingle light and a collection will be made for the work of the Children's Society. This is always a lovely service and they would love to see you there.
On Wednesday 19th December at 7pm there will be a Christmas Carol Service at St Peter's Church. There will also be a raffle draw after the service in the meeting room.
Can I please respectfully remind all parents and carers to be careful with their language when speaking near children in our school. Unfortunately some of our children overheard an adult swearing this morning on their way into our school grounds which is unacceptable.
In addition, a member of school staff was then verbally abused when politely requesting the inappropriate language to be stopped while children were present. All members of staff have the right to work without fear of violence and abuse, so this will not be tolerated. This type of unacceptable behaviour may result in the local authority and the police being informed of the incident.
As a school, our staff and governors have the children's safety and best interests at heart. Thank you to the vast majority of parents and carers who work with us in a positive manner every day. Your support is much appreciated.
On Friday we are taking part in 'Christmas jumper day'. If you do not have a Christmas jumper, you are welcome to wear your favourite jumper instead. Please still wear your usual uniform skirt/trousers for school with your jumper.
The High Borrans group are heading back to school and are due to arrive at approximately 2:45pm depending on the traffic. They must come into school and be signed out if leaving with a parent. They may stay at school until the usual finishing time of 3:25pm if nobody is available to collect them.
There will be enterprise items to buy from the Y6 classroom if they wish to.
Thank you.
