Keep up to date with all the latest news happening in school at the moment.
Recently we welcomed a team of advisors and consultants from the Local Authority School Improvement team to work with us to identify the improvements made in school over the last year. I am delighted that they identified many improvements and the pupils are making such good progress. The LA team agreed with all of our own judgements and highlighted many positives. They also agreed with the areas for further improvement that we had already identified as a Senior Leadership Team and Governors, so we know that we are targeting the correct priorities.
The written feedback from this visit will be with us soon so I will share this with you when it arrives, but in the meantime I would like to thank you all for your ongoing support for our lovely little school. With so many changes happening it has been a very busy year but the improvements now seen have made it all worthwhile. This has given us a renewed boost to push forward with our targets, as the focus still remains in providing the very best education possible for every child so we can enable them to achieve their potential.
Please come to speak to me if you have any questions or suggestions regarding this.
Thank you.

Well done to everyone who put in an entry...it was very hard to choose winners from such high quality.
As a school we have lots of ideas for exciting events in the next few months and would love to have more things available at our fayres, however, we are limited by the number of helpers we have available. School staff need to be with the children for safeguarding purposes.
If you are willing to help, even if just for one event or fayre, please get in touch with myself or any member of the PTA so that we can make our events bigger and better in the future. Thank you.
The winner of the unicorn is Lucy in Y3 who correctly guessed the name 'Molly' and the winner of the teddy is Zak in Y5 who correctly guessed the name Bruno. Congratulations to the winners.
The winners of the decorated plates will be announced soon.
Thank you to everyone who came to our Christmas fayre this afternoon. We will announce how much money we raised once it has all been counted.
It is our Christmas Fayre today and we will be opening it to children and families from 2:30pm this afternoon.
The reason for the earlier opening is to make sure all children in school are able to spend some time at the fayre before they go home, and to give families more time to enjoy it.
If you would like to be able to come and collect your child from the following collection points at 2:30pm and enjoy the school fayre with them in our school hall and Y6 classroom, I would greatly appreciate it if you would complete the reply slip on the attached page so we can ensure all children are supervised and safe.
The arrangements are as follows:
• Nursery and Reception from the EY quad at 2:30pm
• Y1 & Y2 from the Y1 classroom fire door at 2:30pm
• Y3 from their fire door exit as normal at 2:30pm
• Y4, Y5 & Y6 from the KS2 exit door at 2:30pm
• Children will only be handed over if the permission slip has been signed (class teachers will have a list)
• Once you have collected your child, entry to the school fayre will be via the main reception door or the doors to the Y6 classroom (there will be people directing you)
Your cooperation in following the arrangements is absolutely necessary to make sure all children are safe and supervised, and the fayre runs smoothly.
