Worship

As a Church school we have a daily act of Collective Worship. These can be either the whole school coming together or can be individual Class worships. Our daily Collective Worship is important to us because it is time taken out of the busy school day to:

  • consider the bigger picture,
  • reflect on how we feel about certain issues,
  • learn about the Christian Values and how we can use these to become better people
  • come together in prayer and song
  • engage in an act of community.
  • express praise and thanksgiving to God.
  • explore the big questions of life and respond to national events.
  • foster respect and deepen spiritual awareness.
  • reflect on the character of God and on the teachings of Christ.
  • share each other's joys and challenges.
  • celebrate special times in the Christian calendar.
