As you will all know, our year 6 bubble has unfortunately had to close and will remain in isolation for the next 2 weeks. While this is extremely disappointing to both myself and Mrs McGinley, we must follow the guidance from Public Health England. From tomorrow, school work will still be provided and will be placed on this page. I will aim to make it as accessible as possible for children as they learn from home. We will continue with our class book study of She Wolf and also complete our science fiction writing module. The children were also due to begin exploring multiplication and division during in maths. As this is an integral part of our maths curriculum and one that can be difficult for children to grasp, I will be starting this module after Christmas. Instead, children will be briefly recapping addition, subtraction and number and place value as well as focusing on areas such as shape, space and coordinates. If you have any questions about work or anything else regarding school, please feel free to contact the school.
Stay safe everyone,
Mr Chapman and Mrs McGinley
