It is the end of another busy year at Wallsend St Peter's C of E Primary. We have transformed how we teach English, maths and phonics, we have some new flooring in the entrance to make it better for you when you come to see us and we have had some great successes to celebrate. All pupils are learning well and are healthier through doing the Daily Mile every day. Our attendance has risen and the number of pupils who are 'persistently absent' has declined. This is great news! We have more improvements to make in the new school year but this is all done to enable your child to be the best that they can be.
We loved seeing our Y6 class develop into amazing young people with lots of skills and knowledge that they will use in the future. Good luck to them all...their new schools are very lucky to have them!
Most of all I wish to thank you for your ongoing support for our lovely school. We love working with you in providing the best possible education for our pupils and ensuring that we offer them a wide curriculum which is rich in experiences. Seeing the children make progress and achieve things independently is at the heart of what we do.
Over the summer we have a new fire alarm system being installed because we are always thinking of ways to make school a safer place for children to learn.
I hope that you all have a lovely summer break and look forward to welcoming you back to school on Tuesday 3rd September ready for another year of fun-filled learning.
